From August 28 to 31, the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Deep Space Exploration Technology Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Astronautics and the 20th academic annual meeting was held in Kunming。The conference was co-sponsored by the Deep Space Exploration Technology Committee of the Chinese Society of Astronautics and Beijing Institute of Technology, and hosted by Kunming University of Science and Technology。

The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Cui Pingyuan of Beijing Institute of Technology, Executive Vice Chairman of the Deep Space Exploration Technology Professional Committee。Wang Hua, President of Kunming University of Science and Technology, delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the organizer。

The annual meeting invited Academician Dai Qionghai of Tsinghua University, Academician Wang Chi of the National Space Science Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chief Engineer Liu Jizhong of the Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center, Researcher Hong Xiaoyu of the Shanghai Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, Chief Engineer Song Zhengyu and other 11 experts and scholars，The conference presented reports on cutting-edge technologies and scientific issues such as computational sky survey imaging, ice giant exploration, China's heavy launch vehicle engineering, deep space measurement and control, space transportation, lunar scientific research stations, small body detection and defense, "China's compound Eye", and artificial intelligence enabled aerospace。

Li Dong, Chief division of China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, Pei Zhaoyu, Chief division of Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center, as well as leading experts from the National Defense Science, Technology, Industry and Technology Commission, Kunming Science and Technology Bureau and other relevant units were invited to attend the meeting。More than 200 experts and scholars from domestic research institutes and universities in the field of deep space exploration attended the meeting。

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Deep Space Exploration Technology Committee of the Chinese Society of Astronautics，This annual meeting specially produced the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the professional committee of the short film and album，The summary reviews the history of the professional committee from inception to development in the past two decades，And the results achieved in the establishment of academic journals and personnel training。At the same time, the journal of the Professional committee "Journal of Deep Space Exploration (both Chinese and English)" organized the "Special issue to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Special Committee of Deep Space Exploration Technology of the Chinese Society of Astronautics", Academician Luan Enjie wrote the preface for the special issue。
