The School of Management of North Science and Technology, the School of International Organization Innovation and the Institute of Integrated Society of Dankook University jointly held an academic seminar

On August 19, the School of Management of North Science and Technology, the School of International Organization Innovation and the Institute of Integrated Society of Dankook University of South Korea jointly held an academic seminar on "Technology and Policy for Sustainable Development" at the Zhongguancun campus。Six Korean scholars, including Kim Jaeil, vice president of Dankook University, and KIM Hana, director of the Institute for Integrated Society, will attend,Zou Meishuai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Beijing Institute of Technology,Head of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department,More than 30 Chinese and foreign teachers and students from the School of Management and the School of International Organization Innovation participated in the academic discussion。The academic seminar was co-chaired by Liu Hao, Executive vice President of the School of International Organization Innovation and Vice President of the School of Management, and Kim Jaeil, Vice president of Dankook University, South Korea。

Zou Meishai welcomed the visit of the South Korean delegation and introduced the recent achievements of the school。It is hoped that the teachers and students of the two universities will maintain frequent interaction, further strengthen the cooperation between the two universities in the fields of education, science and technology and talents, contribute Asian wisdom to the key issues of global governance such as sustainable development, promote the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and build a community with a shared future for mankind。

KIM Jaeil expressed his sincere gratitude to the experts, scholars, teachers and colleagues who participated in and supported the seminar, and thanked the Beijing Institute of Technology for building a scholars exchange platform between the two countries, further promoting the cooperation between the universities of the two countries to a new level, and contributing new ideas and new models for exploring international science and technology and policy cooperation for sustainable development。

Yin Ximing, Director and Special Associate Researcher, Department of Public Management, School of Management, Beijing Institute of Technology,Qu Guannan, associate professor, Department of Public Administration, School of Management, Beijing Institute of Technology,PARK Jeho, professor of software at Dankook University, South Korea,KIM Hyoungah, assistant Professor of Public Administration at Jeju National University, focused on "Scenario-driven Innovation: An Emerging Paradigm for promoting 'Dual Transformation'", "Blockchain-based Approaches to waste Management and Recycling: Towards a Sustainable Future", and "Meaningful Innovation:The New Paradigm of Transforming Social Value into Competitive Advantage "The role of environmental ngos in Promoting air quality Improvement in China" was presented in a special academic report。

Ye Xuanting, Vice President of School of Management and Vice President of School of International Organization Innovation,Raafat Saade, Chair Professor, School of International Organization Innovation and Professor, Department of Public Administration, School of Management,Zhang Chi, Assistant Dean of School of International Organization Innovation and Professor of School of Management,Associate Professor Yang Tian 'an, Director of Undergraduate Teaching Center, School of Management,KIM Hana,KO Sukchan, emeritus Professor of Urban Planning at Dankook University, South Korea,Experts and scholars including HUR Hyungjo, assistant professor of Public Administration at Dankook University, held a panel discussion on the topic of the report。

During the discussion session, scholars from China and South Korea further exchanged views on South Korea's innovative practical experience and successful cases in sustainable development fields such as green energy and environmental protection technology, and China's leading practice and experience model in promoting sustainable development through scientific and technological innovation, industrial digitalization and green transformation。Experts and scholars at the meeting agreed that scientific and technological innovation is the core driving force for promoting sustainable development, and scientific and reasonable policy guidance is the key to accelerating scientific and technological innovation and ensuring the effective transformation and responsible application of scientific and technological innovation achievements。Strengthening international exchanges and cooperation, sharing development experience, and jointly cultivating international innovation and governance talents are important ways to contribute Asian wisdom to the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals。

This seminar has enhanced exchanges and cooperation between China and South Korea in the field of innovation and sustainable development, and provided Asian solutions, experiences and theories for sustainable development。The School of Management of Beijing Institute of Technology, the School of Innovation in International Organizations and Dankook University of the Republic of Korea will continue to deepen cooperation, promote scientific and technological innovation and the construction of international governance systems, and jointly contribute to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind and the realization of sustainable development goals。
